Sunday Devotion: Thank you Lord, in you I trust

Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.

Psalm 25:4 (NRSV)

CHOIR: Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, “Thank You”

SCRIPTURE

The Lord is good, a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him, even in a rushing flood.
He will make a full end of his adversaries and will pursue his enemies into darkness.
Why do you plot against the Lord? He will make an end; no adversary will rise up twice.

Nahum 1:7-9 (NRSV)

Leave your troubles with the Lord, and he will defend you; he never lets honest people be defeated.

Psalm 55:22 (GNT)

PRAYER

1 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

2 O my God, in you I trust;
do not let me be put to shame;
do not let my enemies exult over me.

4 Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all day long.

6 Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.

Psalm 25:1-2,4-6 NRSV
