John 15:12-14 (Love)

Having just posted the 11th and 12th verses of John 15 yesterday (Complete Joy and Love), primarily because of what I’ve been feeling and observing in last week of so, I greatly appreciate this post.   Needless to say, if EVERYONE lived John 15: 11 – 14 fully, there’d be no Racism or Discrimination in our nation.   Black lives matter; all lives matter.   Do we have to wait to get to Heaven for a bias-free experience?   I hope not.   Thanks Beejai for sharing! Protest

This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. (John 15:12-14)

Relate: Who is the hardest person for you to love? Stop right here for a second, and think about that question. Who is it?

Why?

Does it have to do with physical appearance? Is there something about the way they look that you just can’t stand? Now, I know that pretty much each and every one of us are probably saying right now, “Of course not.” But are we really being honest with ourselves? There are riots and protests going on right now for the very reason that physical appearance is still a very real issue to far too many people…
