A Hallelujah Shout ~

While I’ve been delayed in continuing the Our Stories, Our Praise, Our Worship series launched on 9/21, this poem by deborah ann captures well my feelings today.   Thanks!   A key way I personally PRAISE God is through my Gospel Choir participation.   As the saying goes ‘when Praises go up, Blessings come down’.   As my Pastor said last year, “You can Pray for someone else, but you can’t Praise for someone else“.   LSS if you Praise him, God, which ONLY you can do for you, you will be Blessed.   To God be the Glory.   Greg S.

I Shout For Joy ~ CHRISTian poetrybydeborahann ~ used iwth permission IBible Verses

When trials and tribulations,
makes you fuss about
lift your voice to Jesus
give a hallelujah shout.

For, by faith we are encircled,
by the glory of His grace
He will help us to withstand
the adversity that we face.

When disappointments come,
as we know they surely will
lift your voice to Jesus
give a hallelujah shrill.

For, by faith we are promised,
patience will come to us in time
the hope that Jesus gives us
over setbacks we can climb.

When temptation comes around,
when it’s knocking at your door
lift your voice to Jesus
give a hallelujah roar.

For, He came to save the sinner,
and Satan will run and flee
when you sing out Jesus’ name
with a triumphed joy and glee!

all the earth: make a loud noise,
and rejoice, and sing praise.”
