“Never make someone a priority when
all you are to them is an option.” ~Maya Angelou
- While thinking about how people should prioritize one another (or not), I first thought Angelou’s quote spoke well on people who are stuck in jobs they need to try to leave. However, my 2nd thought, as I read this quote from the late poet/storyteller again, was:
Isn’t it great that, as a child of God, I never have to regret what I do in the name of the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit?
The following scripture same to mind soon thereafter:
11 Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; 12 if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; 13 if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
How can any steadfastly faithful Christian not be his priority too? To God be the Glory.
