No Weapon Will Prosper Protection (7th)

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10 NKJV)

Being divinely shielded with ‘No Weapon Will Prosper’ Protection (7th Pillar) is the focus of this post.   Divine protection helps protect Christian in a 7/24/365 way that only the Lord can; who needs bodyguards and ADT when you’ve got GOD? Your relationship with the Lord allows you to be in a safe, strong tower and escape dangers, seen and unseen.    His ‘no weapon’ promise, his holding of your hand, keeps abiding Christians safe.

The Way, The TruthThe themes for the Scripture for this 7th Pillar:

  • A Strong Tower To Run To
  • God’s ‘No Weapon’ Promise
  • Your Protection from the Most High
  • Fear not, Hold His Hand

All scripture cited in this post is from the New King James Version of the Holy Bible.  All the Scripture and Themes for the 7th Pillar can be found on the No Weapon Will Prosper Protection Pillar page.

  • The book of Isaiah offers great insight into divine protection.

In the 41st book of Isaiah one can read:

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.   I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’   “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.   You shall seek them and not find them– Those who contended with you.   Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing.   For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ (Isaiah 41:10-13)

In the 54th book and 17th verse of Isaiah lies the scripture which inspired the name of this Pillar. It reads: No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

Your Protection from the Most High

In Psalm 91, scripture tells us:

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.   2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.   8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.   9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

As only David can, this Psalm poignantly sets forth the divine protection from ‘the place of the Most High’ that all God’s children benefit from.   His appointed angels keeps me, you, and all faithful Christians safe ‘in all their ways’ from seen and unseen dangers.   Aren’t you glad?

No Weapon Will Prosper Protection

Seven words that lie at the root of the 7th Pillar: Fear not, for I am with you.” (Isaiah 41:10)     As a faithful Christian, the benefit of Divine Protection allows you to walk safely through ‘dark valleys’ (Psalm 23) and fear nothing!    Let’s make this real plan folks.   You have a Heavenly Father who’s a phenomenal ‘Bad Blocker’!   Be thankful He’s not only a ‘Good Provider’.    Let the devil, an evil ‘Good Blocker‘, know that YOU are encouraged!    Let the devil know that you’re encouraged in the Lord . . . whose the Keeper of your Soul.    If God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31b)

See the 7th Pillar Page – for all the Scripture underlying this Pillar.

This post, on the 7th Pillar (Protection), covered a core benefit of your Christian Walk.    The rest of this Christian Assurance Series will focus on Pillars that I call the Kingdom Keys.     Neglecting to live by the remaining 6 pillars, based on Scripture I’ll provide, will make it very hard for any Christian to successfully step through the Gates of Assurance.  You hold the keys.    To God be the Glory!
